    Description

      1. stop synchronization or stop Tomcat
      2. create user in LDAP, e.g. test001
      3. modify user in LDAP
      4. delete user in LDAP
      5. start Tomcat / start synchronization with LDAP

There are three changes in LDAP Changelog: create, modify and delete, but the user does not exist anymore, LDAPsearch fails, so synchronization fails when synchronizing any of the change. Forever.

Maybe such changes should be skipped and the token (pointer to Changelog entry) set to next value, because such changes can't really be synchronized.
