NPE after accessing object on resource (caused by config error)

This happens when there is an error in the association block, in my case a typo , the "associationAttribute" in my configuration was set to ri:member (not in schema) rather to ri:members (correct name). When listing the accounts in the resource page (Resources>All resources>Edit resource>Accounts) and listing the accounts on resource, after clicking one of the accounts an (500) error pops up with an NPE message in the log.
